Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
The statement Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) represents that variety of methods for resolving disputes lying outside the traditional court-based proceeding, known as litigation. Aimed at saving time, money and the underlying relationship between the parties, ADR can be a valuable surrogate to filing suit. The traditional forms of ADR include negotiation, mediation and arbitration (arbitration has become so popular internationally that it commands its own identity).

Arbitration
Arbitration, though similar to litigation in terms of structure and finality, allows the parties more flexibility than court-based proceedings, including permitting the parties to choose their own judge, or arbitrator (as the person is known), their own timetable and own procedural rules. With multilateral conventions opening the way for the use of arbitration and enforcement of arbitral awards, its inclusion in international contracts is paramount to successful negotiations.

Corporate Advisory
We provide initial and on-going strategic advice to directors and officers of companies, help establish partnerships, joint ventures and strategic alliances and provide support to company secretaries. We will also prepare a business plan tailored to the objectives of your business, and that meets the requirements of financial institutions and venture capitalists.

Intellectual Property Protection
From trademarks and copyrights to patents and domain names, with Intellectual Property representing a critical, if not the most critical, asset of a business, we make the domestic and international protection of these intangibles our top priority.

International Commerce
With increased globalization and competition, international commerce has become a market necessity for even small-to-medium firms. Focussing on the Chinese, South East Asian and Australian markets, we are able to advise and negotiate on behalf of our client, every phase of the commercial process, from market introductions and government licensing, to paving the way for imports/exports and customs clearance.

Market Entry: Franchising, Licensing, Marketing
Choosing the right form of market entry and penetration is critical to your business' success. Thus, we are prepared to conduct research and advise on the market environment to help you make an informed decision that is best in line with your business goals.
